Car Rental Terms and Conditions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Price<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Car Insurance<\/strong>: Protection against damage to the rented vehicle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Emergency Road Assistance 24\/7<\/strong>: We\u2019re here to help, day or night.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Sales Tax<\/strong>: No hidden fees\u2014what you see is what you pay.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      2. Rental Period<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • The minimum rental period is 1 day<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        3. Renter\u2019s Liability<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • As the renter, we are committed to providing you with a vehicle at the agreed-upon price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • During the rental period, you, the lessee, become the rightful owner of the car.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • We ensure that the vehicle is insured and safe for use before handing it over to you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • The car we provide will be clean and fully fueled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          4. Limitations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          • There are no mileage restrictions\u2014the rented car\u2019s mileage is unlimited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • The deposit is not required when booking on the website, but if you choose not to purchase any insurance, a deposit will be necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            5. Lessee\u2019s Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • You must present a valid driver\u2019s license that allows you to operate the rented vehicle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Provide your passport or ID card for verification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Full payment for the rental is due before the start of the rental period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • A deposit (ranging from $500 to $5000 USD, depending on the car class) is required. This deposit covers any damages that may occur during the rental.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Upon returning the vehicle, it must be returned with the same amount of gasoline as it had when it was delivered to you. CMY RENT A CAR is not responsible for nor will refund any money for returning the vehicle with more fuel than it was initially provided to you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              6. Liability<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
                \n
              • The lessee assumes full responsibility for any non-insurable events during the rental period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • If you transfer the car to a third party who did not sign the contract as a second driver with a license not valid for 90 days in the Dominican Republic, you are liable for any consequences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Violations of road traffic rules will result in penalties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • In case of car theft, failure to return the car keys and registration documents will require compensation for damages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                7. CMY RENT A CAR Refund Policy<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                At the Time of Rental:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                • A credit or debit card<\/strong> is required to secure the vehicle rental.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • The total cost of the rental will be the amount agreed upon at the time of reservation<\/strong>, which varies depending on the type of vehicle selected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                  Reservation Process:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Visit the online reservation<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  2. Include all your personal information, the rental office<\/strong> or the airport<\/strong> where you will pick up the vehicle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  3. Select the rental dates<\/strong> and the size of the vehicle<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  4. Review and confirm the details to finalize the reservation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  5. Accept the terms and conditions<\/strong> and confirm that you meet the age, documentation, and credit card requirements<\/strong> necessary for the rental.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    Important Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    • No additional fees for extra drivers<\/strong> will be applied.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                      In Case of Return:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Nighttime Deposit Return<\/strong>: If you return the vehicle outside of business hours and it is not possible for a CMY RENT A CAR agent to inspect it, the review will be carried out the following day. After this inspection, if everything is in order, we will proceed to cancel the deposit made with a credit card. We will confirm this cancellation by sending you a photograph of your receipt marked as \u201ccancellation\u201d through the contact method we have with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Insurance Options<\/strong>: We offer three types of insurance: Customer Protection Plan (CPP), Extra Insurance Third Party (EIT), and MTS Insurances. If you choose to opt for only one of these insurances, it will be necessary to leave a security deposit with a credit card that varies between $500 and $5,000, depending on the selected insurance. Alternatively, you can decline these insurances if your credit card offers rental vehicle insurance coverage. As a national company, we comply with all requirements to issue documentation, quotes, evaluations, and assist you in the event of an accident, including accompanying you to the police station to make the necessary police report for your insurance to reimburse the incurred expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Cash Payment<\/strong>: In case you prefer not to use your credit card, we accept cash payments as an alternative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Bank Deposits<\/strong>: Additionally, we also accept bank deposits for your convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      • Upon returning the vehicle, the customer will receive the deposit or deductible<\/strong> left as a guarantee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • The refund will be made immediately<\/strong> if the vehicle is returned directly to the office and the deposit was made in cash or by credit card<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Cash deposits<\/strong> are accepted at our offices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • The deductible or deposit ranges from USD 500 to USD 5,000<\/strong> if no additional insurance is purchased.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                        Note on Credit Card Refunds:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        • Refunds may take 5 to 10 business days<\/strong> to be reflected by international banking institutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        • If you do not receive your refund within this time frame, please contact CMY RENT A CAR<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                          8. Notice: Company Policy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                          At CMY Rent a Car, we uphold stringent guidelines to ensure the smooth operation of our vehicle rental services.                           1. Prohibition of Illegal Substances:<\/strong> We strictly prohibit the transportation or consumption of illicit substances within our rented vehicles. Lessees are expected to refrain from engaging in any activity that violates local laws during the rental period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          2. Alcohol Intoxication:<\/strong> It is imperative that our customers refrain from operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Any accidents or damages resulting from such behavior will be the sole responsibility of the lessee and may lead to legal consequences as determined by local authorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          3. Driver’s License Requirement:<\/strong> Only individuals possessing a valid driver’s license and meeting the minimum age requirement are authorized to operate our rental vehicles. We prioritize safety and ensure that our vehicles are in the hands of qualified and responsible drivers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                          4. Violation of Terms:<\/strong> Any breach of the aforementioned conditions will result in the automatic nullification of insurance coverage and may lead to immediate termination of the lease agreement. CMY Rent a Car reserves the right to pursue legal action against any contractual violations.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                            9. Our Insurances<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

                            Customer Protection Plan (CPP) (Full Insurance) from CMY Rent a Car for an additional $30, you gain peace of mind with a full insurance even if you can’t afford a full deposit. The plan price depends on the type of vehicle, with a maximum cap of $30 per day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            Extra Insurance third-party (EIT) Extra insurance for challenging situations such as judicial bail, damages to third-party private properties, and the peace of mind to reunite with your family, all for just $8.50. With a guarantee of 3 million in favor of our clients. REQUIRED FOR ALL RENTS <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                            MTS Insurance: Protects your vehicle wherever it’s parked. Our coverage ensures peace of mind for just $5 per day. Excluding accidents, our plan covers against vehicle parts theft, glass damage, and tire issues. Enjoy worry-free driving with CMY’s MTS Insurance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
